Since March 13, 2020, the Russian Federation imposes restrictions on passenger communications with Italy, France, Germany and Spain and on issuing visas to Italian citizens

Over the last day in Russia, 8 cases of new coronavirus infection were registered among citizens of the Russian Federation: 6 patients in Moscow, 2 in the Moscow region.
According to an epidemiological investigation, all citizens have visited the Italian Republic in the past two weeks. All hospitalized are in infectious boxes. The results are confirmed in the prescribed manner.
The circle of persons with whom they contacted on the territory of the Russian Federation was determined. Work is underway to place contact persons under medical supervision. Their laboratory examination is carried out.
In the Russian Federation, 28 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered to date, of which 25 are from Russian citizens who have returned from Italy, 2 from Chinese citizens, 1 from an Italian citizen. 2 Chinese citizens and 1 Russian citizen were discharged for recovery. Also, Russian citizens evacuated from Japan were discharged from the Diamond Princess liner.
In order to ensure state security, protect public health and prevent the spread of new coronavirus infection in Russia, as well as in connection with the worsening epidemiological situation in Italy, Germany, Spain and France, the following decisions were made by the operational headquarters.
From 00 hours 00 minutes on March 13, 2020 to temporarily restrict passenger air transportation from the territory of the Russian Federation to the territory of the Italian Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Kingdom of Spain, the French Republic and in the opposite direction, with the exception of:
– regular flights Moscow – Rome (and vice versa), regular flights Moscow – Berlin (and vice versa), regular flights Moscow – Munich (and vice versa), regular flights Moscow – Frankfurt am Main (and vice versa), regular flights Moscow – Madrid (and vice versa), regular flights Moscow – Barcelona (and vice versa), regular flights Moscow – Paris (and vice versa) operated via Sheremetyevo International Airport (terminal F);
– charter flights, provided that the citizens of the indicated countries and citizens of other countries are transported to the indicated countries and the citizens of the Russian Federation – to the Russian Federation until the specified citizens are fully exported to their countries.
Also, from 00 hours 00 minutes on March 13, 2020, a temporary ban on the issuance of visas to citizens of the Italian Republic, with the exception of business, humanitarian, diplomatic and official, is introduced.
It was recommended that the federal executive bodies and executive bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation reduce the number of public events, including business, sports, cultural and entertainment, and, if possible, conduct them in video format or without spectators, allowing the possibility of holding only extremely important and urgent events.
In addition, it is recommended that federal executive authorities cancel travel abroad, with the exception of business trips of an urgent nature and (or) organized pursuant to instructions from the President of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Russian Federation and (or) in order to ensure the country’s security, and also recommend that employees refrain from all travel to countries with adverse conditions associated with the spread of new coronavirus infection, if they are not caused by emergency.
